Awards
    1. Under the LIFE Mission Scheme, the panchayat received an award for achieving the highest number of agreements and completing the highest number of houses among the fisherfolk community in Thrissur district.
    2. The Family Health Centre AYUSH Centre secured the Kayakalp Award, scoring 98.33%, and ranked first in Thrissur district in the Ayurveda category.
    3. The Family Health Centre received the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) accreditation with a score of 97.89%.
    4. In 2008, the panchayat received the Nirmal Gram Puraskar Award.
