Thoofan 2.0

To completely prevent the spread and use of narcotic substances in the state, the Kerala Police and the Local Self-Government Department jointly launched Thoofan 2.0. The state-level inauguration of the project was held at A.R. Nagar Grama Panchayat in Malappuram district and was inaugurated by the then Home Minister, Shri Ramesh Chennithala.
As part of the inauguration, the Panchayat-level launch at Kaipamangalam Grama Panchayat was inaugurated by the Panchayat President, Smt. Beena Surendran. Vice President K.K. Zakaria, Standing Committee Chairpersons Suresh Kochu Veettil and Mani Ullas, Ansa Mol, other Panchayat members, ASHA workers, Haritha Karma Sena members, Kudumbashree members, social workers, Panchayat officials, and political party leaders participated in the programme.
As part of the inauguration, Kaipamangalam Sub-Inspectors Shri Ranjith and Shri Avinash flagged off the Toofan campaign. This was followed by the Toofan pledge, after which the programme concluded.
