Data Bank
A Data Bank of a Grama Panchayat is a compilation of official records containing information about the lands within that Panchayat, particularly details relating to paddy fields and wetlands. In Kerala, it is primarily prepared with the involvement of the Local Self Government Department and the Revenue Department.
In Kerala, the term “Data Bank” generally refers to the Paddy Land & Wetland Data Bank prepared under the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2008.
